The world-famous Sellaronda belongs to the most beautiful and varied ski safaris in the Alps. It leads around the Sella massif through the four ski areas and the four valleys of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Fassa. You can do this fantastic and very rewarding tour leading through the UNESCO World Heritage Site either clockwise, following the orange signs, or anticlockwise, following the green signs. This unforgettable day in the Dolomites counts 40 kilometres of slopes and lifts and overcomes around 15,000 m of altitude. A certain level of fitness is therefore required. The slopes range from easy to moderately difficult and the panorama is incomparably beautiful.

A popular winter activity in Val Gardena is tobogganing. The Rasciesa funicular offers a great toboggan run, which is over 6 km long and leads from the mountain station to Ortisei. There are also many other tobogganing opportunities on the nearby Alpe di Siusi and in the surrounding area. Please note, however, that for safety reasons tobogganing is not allowed on the ski slopes.

A romantic ride on a horse-drawn sleigh is also a wonderful way to enjoy the winter landscape. The steaming steeds pull you through a scenically unique environment.
